Hardware That Doesn't Work with Linux
Like all Broadcom wireless products, binary-only Linux drivers are only available for MIPSel — it doesn’t work at all on common Linux architectures. The hardware can be made to work with ndiswrapper or Linuxant’s driverloader on i386 using the (binary-only) Windows driver.
Broadcom hasn’t been willing to discuss releasing the specs or a binary-only driver for i386.
