Hopefully you didn’t find out the hard way by killing your SSD and losing all of your data by upgrading to Apple Mountain Lion 10.8 operating system. Many of the OCZ Technology SSD Drives are not compatible with Apple Mountain Lion OS 10.8. OCZ has known about this for at least 2 months and did nothing to notify it’s users about the issue and as a result an operation as simple as upgrading your system will cause you to lose all of your data. Their current response to this major imcompatiblity is the following which was taking from the OCZ Support Forums:

OCZ is aware of the issue regarding Mountain Lion and the above OCZ SSD models. We have the firmware team looking into the issue and we will post an update or fix as soon as one is available.

With no fix in sight it’s probably best to go with SanDisk or Crucial SSDs.
