Hardware That Doesn't Work with Linux

The following Network Attached Storage devices are classified as redband, and are not currently recommended for purchase because they use a proprietary network protocol, rather than nfs or samba and the manufacturer has not released the technical specifications required to produce a reliable opensource driver:
